1. Overview

This Privacy Policy explains what limited data RecodeFlow processes, why, and who processes it on our behalf.

Your videos never leave your device: all video and audio imports, conversions and exports run entirely on your device. We never upload, transmit or store your videos anywhere else.

2. Data We Process

RecodeFlow converts your videos without collecting them. To sell and verify the optional Pro upgrade and to answer support requests, we process only the following:

Data Category Details processed
Purchases Your in-app purchase and subscription history (which product, when, its transaction identifiers and whether it is active), used to unlock Pro. The App Store, Google Play or Microsoft Store processes the payment itself; we never see your payment details.
Anonymous app user ID A random identifier our purchase provider creates on first launch, plus the app version, operating system, language and currency sent with each purchase check. It is not linked to your name, email address or store account.
Apple Ads attribution (iPhone and iPad only) If you installed RecodeFlow after seeing an Apple Ads campaign: Apple's AdServices attribution token, used only to learn which campaign led to a purchase. We do not track you across other companies' apps or websites, never ask for tracking permission and never read your device's advertising identifier (IDFA).
Support Correspondence Messages and attachments you choose to send us.

3. How This Data Is Used

We use this data only to:

  • Unlock Pro features after verifying a purchase, and restore them when you reinstall or tap Restore purchases.
  • Measure which Apple Ads campaigns lead to purchases.
  • Answer your support requests.
  • Comply with legal obligations.

4. Sharing Policy

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information, and we do not use it for tracking or targeted advertising. On iPhone, iPad, Mac and Android, purchase data, the anonymous app user ID and (on iPhone and iPad) the Apple Ads attribution token are processed on our behalf by RevenueCat, Inc., our in-app purchase provider. On Windows, purchases are verified directly with the Microsoft Store. Payments are handled by Apple, Google and Microsoft under their own privacy policies. RecodeFlow contains no analytics, advertising or crash-reporting SDK.

5. Updates to This Policy

We may amend this Privacy Policy from time to time. When modifications are finalised, we will update the date at the top of this document. Your continued use of the application constitutes your recognition of our active privacy rules.
